Senior Roads Designer $81-68K Are you an MX expert?
Gain exposure to the larger scale design to construct projects in the state, including Vic urban and rural highways realignments shape corrections, seal extensions and widening, major culverts, and intersection upgrades.
Be mentored by key engineers into a lead design position where you will prepare and manage documentation including specification writing and scheduling of quantities, and contract drawings for tender and construction. Gain experience in supervising other field design teams and preparing and calculating data for design phases.

Civil Design Drafter $80-$60K
If you are currently in a larger firm and feel more like just a number than an actual person, shifting to a smaller consultancy may just be the answer. In addition to developing your CivilCAD and 12D skills, this role provides ongoing training in areas of reinforced concrete, suspended slabs, tilt up panels and portal frames; ensuring you add value not only to your experience but knowledge base as well.
Initially you will get involved in Subdivision Drafting projects covering roads and drainage; and then assist the Engineers with aspects of calculations, analysis and project development. Unlike a lot of Drafting roles; you will not be stuck at your desk for 8 hours a day as you will also attend both site and client visits; ensuring you benefit from the exposure and network of contacts. Situated in the inner west and close to public transport the offices have been recently refurbished and the workstations all boast the latest versions of CAD and analysis packages.
At least 4 years experience and attainment of a Diploma of Civil (Or Structural) Engineering would be ideal. Whilst not essential, some experience in a consulting and knowledge of MX would be advantageous.
